Job summary

Nexeo Plastics is seeking a Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist to administer payroll for the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada using ADP Workforce Now. The role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance, while coordinating payroll data across SuccessFactors integrations and benefits administration.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of multi-state U.S. payroll and payroll tax requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent payroll experience considered.
• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, preferably in a senior or lead capacity.
• Strong hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN).
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or a comparable HRIS with payroll responsibilities.
• Experience processing payroll for US, Puerto Rico, and Canada, including multi-state payroll.
• Strong Excel skills for large data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll for US, Puerto Rico and Canada across multiple states and locations, ensuring accuracy and deadlines.
• Handle payroll cycle from processing to audits, reconciliations, and reports; manage changes and tax withholdings.
• Maintain data in ADP Workforce Now and SAP SuccessFactors; ensure integrations work smoothly.
• Back up benefits administration for US and Canada; support HR initiatives, audits, and reporting.
• Coordinate payroll governance with Finance, Tax, and external vendors; ensure compliance with laws.
