Job summary

MORryde International is seeking a Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist to lead payroll and employee benefits programs within the Employee Services department. You will manage weekly payroll for about 750 hourly and salaried employees, analyze labor data, and support benefit plan administration while maintaining compliance and accuracy.

The role emphasizes problem solving, data integrity, and customer-focused service, with close collaboration across HR and management teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet management and design (Excel).
• Experience with HRIS systems such as Paylocity preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and provide support to Payroll & Benefits Specialist team members.
• Oversee weekly payroll processing for ~750 hourly and salaried employees.
• Provide labor analysis and reporting to leadership.
• Collaborate with management on labor trends, adjustments, and incentives.
• Understand and manage benefit offerings and enrollment periods.
• Coordinate with brokers and providers on plan selection and administration.
• Prepare monthly and year-end benefit-related financial reports.
