Job summary

Avion Hospitality is seeking a Senior Accountant – Payroll & Benefits to support payroll, payroll-related expenses, and employee benefits across 40+ managed hotels. You will collaborate with Payroll, HR, and Accounting to ensure accurate recording and reconciliation across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

The role requires 5+ years in payroll and benefits accounting, strong Excel, and hands-on Paylocity and M3 experience, with a focus on building scalable processes in a fast-growing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Five+ years of progressive accounting experience with emphasis on payroll and benefits accounting.
• Hospitality/multi-entity accounting experience preferred.
• Hands-on Paylocity and M3 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform payroll accounting across properties, including journal entries and labor cost allocations.
• Account for payroll taxes, benefits, and related expenses and reconcile carrier invoices.
• Close monthly with payroll and benefits liabilities, perform reconciliations and variance analyses.
• Maintain strong internal controls and support audits and process improvements.
