MemorialCare Health System in Fountain Valley is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst for an on-site role in the Payroll Service Center. You will handle payroll processing for 12,000+ employees, manage tax reporting, and support multiple facilities with strong internal controls.

The position requires at least 5 years in a large payroll environment, knowledge of payroll regulatory rules, and proficiency with PeopleSoft and Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in computerized large payroll department, healthcare preferred.
• Knowledge of California and Federal Wage Orders and Garnishments.
• 10-key by touch and 40-45 WPM typing.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPP preferred.

Responsabilités

• Process payroll for multiple companies and union groups on a set biweekly schedule.
• Reconcile and file 940, 941, Schedule B, DE9 and related tax returns quarterly/yearly.
• Audit and balance W2s, payroll taxes, and GL interfaces across facilities.
• Maintain confidentiality and provide timely payroll support to campus personnel.
• Utilize PeopleSoft and Excel to validate hours, deductions, and benefits.
