Job summary

PRIDE Industries is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to manage complex payroll processing across multiple states. You will handle advanced calculations, audits, and regulatory compliance while partnering with HR and Finance.

Under limited supervision, you will design processes, produce reports, respond to escalated inquiries, and ensure accuracy of payroll records and government reporting. Hybrid work includes 2 days onsite per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Five or more years of payroll processing experience.
• Ability to handle non-routine issues and resolve them.
• Familiarity with automated payroll systems and multi-state wage laws.
• Strong knowledge of wage and hour regulations and workflow best practices.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced payroll calculations including salary and benefits; handles complex leave calculations.
• Documents and communicates new processes; improves department workflows.
• Resolves payroll data questions and compliance issues with policy and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates data requests from auditors and state/federal agencies; formats data accordingly.
• Processes garnishments, levies, and special payroll documents; ensures accuracy.
• Produces standardized payroll reports for government and management.
• Partners with HR to manage leaves, terminations, and payroll status changes; researches state/federal requirements.
• Prepares GL reconciliations for payroll and benefit liabilities; audits payroll processing.
