Job summary

CFS in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to join the payroll team. You will manage weekly multi-state payroll for hourly, salaried, and union employees, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

The role offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days on-site, opportunities to lead payroll system improvements, and exposure to senior leadership as the payroll function expands in-house expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-volume payroll and multi-state payroll.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of wage/hour laws and payroll taxes.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly multi-state payroll for hourly, salaried, and union employees.
• Ensure compliance with wage/hour laws, payroll taxes, garnishments, and wage orders.
• Reconcile payroll, investigate discrepancies, and make corrections.
• Resolve payroll issues and maintain accurate employee records.
• Support payroll system implementations, integrations, and process improvements.
