Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst in Chicago, IL to join a growing payroll team. The role covers weekly multi-state payroll for hourly, salaried, and union staff, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and process improvements.

You’ll collaborate with leadership to optimize payroll systems, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure timely tax filings while supporting ongoing enhancements across the payroll function in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting high-volume payroll for 2,500+ employees.
• Experience with multi-state payroll processes.
• Experience processing payroll for hourly and salaried employees; union payroll is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly multi-state payroll for hourly, salaried, and union employees.
• Ensure compliance with wage/hour laws, payroll taxes, garnishments, and wage orders.
• Reconcile payroll, investigate discrepancies and make corrections.
• Resolve payroll issues and maintain accurate employee records.
• Support payroll system implementations, integrations, and process improvements.
