Century Group is partnering with a client to recruit a Senior Payroll Analyst to manage and optimize payroll operations across multiple states. The role requires meticulous data handling, regulatory knowledge and collaborative problem-solving to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing.

The ideal candidate will have extensive payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and a track record of improving payroll processes while maintaining audit readiness and compliance with tax regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience including large multistate payroll processing.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax requirements, and compliance practices.
• Experience with enterprise payroll systems and advanced Excel reporting and reconciliation functions.
• Maintain experience supporting payroll audits, year-end reporting and payroll related financial reconciliations.

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $35.00 to $48.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage payroll operations by processing employee compensation accurately and ensuring timely payroll completion.
• Review payroll data including earnings deductions taxes and special pay adjustments to maintain compliance and accuracy.
• Perform payroll reconciliations analysis and reporting to support financial reporting and operational decision making.
• Partner with accounting human resources technology and operational teams to resolve payroll issues and improve processes.
• Lead payroll improvement initiatives by supporting system enhancements automation efforts and documentation updates.

Requirements
