Job description

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Payroll Specialist to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $38.00 to $42.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Process full cycle payroll activities to ensure employees are paid accurately and on schedule.
• Manage payroll transactions across multiple business units, company codes, and payroll groups.
• Review payroll data, employee records, earnings, deductions, and tax withholdings for accuracy and compliance.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies while providing support to employees and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain payroll records, prepare reports, and assist with audits, reconciliations, and payroll related projects.

Requirements

• Previous experience processing high volume payroll in a fast paced business environment.
• Hands on experience managing payroll from data collection through final payroll distribution and reconciliation.
• Proficiency with Workday payroll and related workforce management systems.
• Prior experience supporting multiple payroll entities, organizational structures, or business units.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax requirements, and payroll compliance practices.
