Job summary

Atrium in New York seeks an experienced payroll professional to own the end-to-end multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now. This role requires independence, strong reconciliation skills, and a proactive approach.

You will partner with HR and Total Rewards, ensure compliance with state/local tax rules, and drive improvements to benefits deductions and reporting. Hybrid work with in-office days, plus comprehensive benefits and a generous vacation policy are included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on multi-state payroll experience
• Strong reconciliation, auditing, and analytical skills
• Independent, proactive payroll professional with ownership mindset
• Knowledge of payroll, benefits, compliance and integration processes

Responsibilities

• Own bi-weekly multi-state payroll administration using ADP Workforce Now
• Review payroll data, reconcile deductions, ensure accuracy
• Partner with payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain compliance
• Support benefits administration by ensuring payroll deductions align
• Conduct payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting with data integrity
• Research payroll regulations and recommend process improvements
• Serve as a trusted resource for employee payroll and benefits questions
