Textron Systems is seeking a Sr Payroll Accounting Representative to join our Finance team in Maryland. The role handles multi-unit payrolls, ensures compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, and supports internal controls.

Responsibilities include processing timecards, reconciling payroll, preparing payroll journal entries, and assisting employees with payroll questions. Requires 5 years payroll experience and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required but AA preferred.
• Basic knowledge of payroll and accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years payroll experience preferred.
• Effective analytical skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Effective computer skills including spreadsheet and office application software.
• Exposure to automated accounting and/or ERP systems, such as Oracle.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and company policies.
• Multi-task orientation.

Responsibilities

• Process timecards and payroll for multiple companies including more complex payrolls.
• Review and address timecard and payroll discrepancies.
• Review and reconcile payroll.
• Prepare and record payroll journal entries.
• Assist employees with timecard or payroll questions or issues.
• Assist with audit requests as needed.
• Adhere to company internal controls.
