Job summary

Baylor University seeks an experienced Senior Payroll Accountant responsible for payroll data analysis, post-payroll reconciliations, and ensuring payroll accuracy in the Oracle Cloud HCM/Finance system.

A bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience are required; a master’s degree with five years of experience is preferred. Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3 years of relevant payroll experience.
• Master's degree and 5 years of experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of one another.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, review, and improve payroll procedures for timely, accurate payroll transactions.
• Coordinate with HR, Benefits, Accounting, and Cash Management for accurate payroll disbursements.
• Provide analysis of payroll data to support accurate processing.
• Monitor, reconcile, and maintain tax filings and invoices per pay period.
• Assist with quarterly and annual tax reconciliations and tax file transmissions.
• Support audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
