Chicago Park District is seeking a Senior Payroll Accountant to oversee bi-weekly payroll operations for up to 7,000 employees. You will manage time entry, reconcile balances, and handle complex payroll issues while ensuring compliance with Federal and State regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and at least five years of payroll experience, with proficiency in ADP and Microsoft Office; Oracle Cloud is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in accounting or payroll processing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ADP systems; strong understanding of payroll software.
• Oracle Cloud is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for up to 7,000 employees.
• Manage time entry and reconcile payroll balances.
• Prepare quarterly and annual tax filings and related reports.
• Prepare and submit reports to ADP and other third parties.
