You will manage contract terms, oversee execution, and partner with hospital and physician groups to align strategies and ensure favorable reimbursement outcomes. Responsibilities include strategic analysis, proposal preparation, and monitoring regulatory changes while acting as a subject matter expert on contract language

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Ability to travel to offsite locations as needed.
• Flexibility to attend early morning or evening meetings.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsibilities

• Think strategically to identify key negotiating targets for payor negotiations.
• Develop and update financial reimbursement models to inform contract negotiations.
• Ensure contract documents reflect negotiated terms and manage execution to filing.
• Act as primary contact for payor portfolio contracts and maintain relationships.
• Maintain expertise on hospital and physician reimbursement and coding updates.
• Develop strategies to promote care coordination across payor product types.
• Prepare and present payor proposals and performance reports to Senior Management.
• Monitor regulatory changes and analyze data to support negotiations.
• Serve as subject matter expert on payor contract terms and language interpretation.
• Collaborate with hospital contracting staff to renegotiate PLLC/HLLC into consolidated contracts.
