Job summary

Kraken’s Payward Services team is building a scalable payments platform that connects banks, PSPs, and local rails to enable seamless pay-ins and payouts for millions of users. The product manager will shape the platform from architecture to API layers, serving internal clients with hosted pages, SDKs, and embeddable components.

The role owns the vision and roadmap, collaborates with engineering and banking partners, and ensures compliance and risk considerations are integrated early in planning

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Knowledge of payments, PSPs, bank rails, and money flows.
• Strong ability to read RFCs, evaluate architectures, and write API specs.
• Experience shipping developer-facing products such as APIs, SDKs, or embeddable UI components.
• Clear, structured writing that stakeholders can act on.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and roadmap for the Payward payments platform.
• Map requirements across internal clients and evolve platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering to create a sequenced, high-impact roadmap.
• Prioritize competing client needs with clear trade-offs.
• Shape the client experience end-to-end from first conversation to go-live.
• Coordinate with banking and partnerships to scale integrations.
• Incorporate compliance, risk, and legal requirements early in planning.
• Set and track platform success metrics (time-to-launch, adoption).
