Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience and a collaborative, test-driven mindset.
• Experience building fault-tolerant, distributed systems.
• Ability to guide multiple teams on scaling and refactoring.
• Architecting and testing large-scale production code that is maintainable.
• Interest in Payments or Accounting systems; strong communication of technical tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test infrastructure enabling Payments and risk teams to create tailored experiences.
• Help scale a large Ruby/Rails and TypeScript/React application used by many businesses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to solve complex problems and drive decisions.
• Build platforms powering multiple products and services for millions of businesses.
• Mentor engineers to create holistic, scalable solutions.
