Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience in a collaborative, test-driven environment.
• Experience building fault-tolerant, mission-critical software and distributed systems.
• Experience guiding multiple teams on scaling, refactoring legacy products.
• Ability to communicate technical complexity and tradeoffs clearly.
• Experience in Payments/Accounting domains is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test infrastructure enabling Payments and Risk/experience teams.
• Scale one of the largest Ruby/Rails and TypeScript/React applications.
• Collaborate with Engineering, PM, Design, Data Science, Operations and cross-functional teams.
• Build the platform powering multiple products serving millions of businesses.
• Mentor and grow fellow engineers to create scalable solutions.
