Job summary

Chewy is seeking a senior payments operations leader to own the health, performance, and optimization of advanced authorization, stored payment, and recurring flows. You will monitor metrics, drive cross-functional programs, and partner with product, engineering, finance, and external processors to ensure reliability and scalability.

The role requires extensive experience in card-not-present and recurring payment environments, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to drive improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
• 8+ years in payments, fintech, ecommerce, or related environment.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional programs with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Customer Care/Operations, Legal/Compliance, and external partners.
• Experience with card-not-present and recurring payment flows.
• Strong analytical skills using payment data and metrics to drive action.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational health and optimization roadmap for advanced authorization, stored payment, and recurring flows.
• Define, monitor, and improve key payment metrics and SLA performance.
• Lead launches, enhancements, defects, partner escalations, and post-launch performance management.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Care, Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Legal/Compliance, and external partners.
• Identify defects and quantify impact to drive prioritized resolution.
• Collaborate with payment processors, wallet providers, and tokenization providers to manage performance and roadmaps.
