Practice Better is seeking a Senior Developer to own and scale our Payments platform, including embedded billing and subscriptions for thousands of practitioners globally. You’ll collaborate across Engineering, Product, Finance, and Support to deliver secure, high-quality payment experiences.

Qualifications
- 8+ years in full-stack SaaS, with payments experience.
- Direct experience with payment processors and embedded payments.
- Familiarity with PCI, chargebacks, reconciliation, and fraud basics.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools in daily workflow.
- Ability to own features from concept to shipping.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale payment processor integrations and payments infra.
- Set architecture patterns and best practices for payments systems.
- Develop end-to-end user features from DB to UI.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate dev velocity while ensuring security.
- Investigate billing issues and support PCI-DSS compliance.
- Improve reliability, monitoring, and incident response for payment systems.
- Collaborate with product, design, and finance to translate requirements.
- Lead with proactive ownership in a fast-moving environment.
