Job summary

Collectors is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Payments team, building scalable payment infrastructure across gateways, wallets, and settlement flows. You will work on backend APIs in C#/.NET and frontend experiences in React, Svelte, and TypeScript to power checkout and payments management.

Prime focus is security, reliability, and PCI compliance with an AI-first approach to accelerate delivery. Eligible for onsite/hybrid work with US-based teams and global integrations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years engineering experience designing, shipping and scaling software
• Proficient in C#/.NET and async API patterns
• Frontend experience with React, Svelte and TypeScript
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve multi-gateway payment integrations (Stripe, PayPal, others).
• Deliver full-stack payment experiences with backend services and customer-facing UIs.
• Champion security, PCI-DSS compliance, and resilience patterns.
• Take an AI-first approach to development across the SDLC.
• Architect for scale using AWS, Kubernetes, observability and tracing.
• Drive cross-functional execution across Payments, Marketplace, and platforms.
