Job summary

Realign Llc seeks a skilled Payment Test Engineer to join our on-site team in St. Louis, MO.

You will lead end-to-end testing of payment processing systems, design and execute manual and automated test cases, and validate authorization, clearing, and settlement flows. You will analyze ISO 8583 messages, transaction routing, and responses, while developing automation frameworks and scripts to support regression testing.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in payments testing.
• Experience designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test cases for payment processing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 8583 message formats and related transaction flows.
• Experience in Unix/Linux environments, with log analysis and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with C/C++ and scripting languages.
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks for regression testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing of payment transaction processing applications.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases for authorization, clearing, and settlement.
• Analyze ISO 8583 messages, routing, and authorization responses.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts.
• Execute tests in Unix/Linux environments and analyze logs.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and support teams to resolve defects.
• Provide estimates for test effort and participate in reviews.
• Support production validation activities.
