Job summary

Realign Llc seeks a skilled Payment Test Engineer to join our on-site team in St. Louis, MO.

You will lead end-to-end testing of payment processing systems, design and execute manual and automated test cases, and validate authorization, clearing, and settlement flows. You will analyze ISO 8583 messages, transaction routing, and responses, while developing automation frameworks and scripts to support regression testing.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in payments testing.
• Experience designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test cases for payment processing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 8583 message formats and related transaction flows.
• Experience in Unix/Linux environments, with log analysis and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with C/C++ and scripting languages.
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks for regression testing.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Experienced Tester with 5 to 8 years of experience in the payments industry and with T3 hands on.
• Perform end-to-end testing of payment transaction processing applications using T3 tools.
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for payment authorization, clearing, settlement, and related transaction flows.
• Analyze and validate ISO 8583 message formats, transaction routing, and authorization responses.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts for regression and functional testing.
• Execute testing in Unix/Linux environments, including log analysis and troubleshooting.
• Validate application functionality across multiple payment networks and transaction types.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and support teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide test effort estimates.
• Perform root cause analysis of production issues and verify fixes through regression testing.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, and test execution reports.
• Support Production validation activities.
• Knowledge of C, C++, and scripting languages.
