Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Payments Operations Specialist to support enterprise payment processing, manage higher-risk transactions, and ensure compliance across all activities.

You will collaborate with internal teams to research escalated issues and provide subject-matter support, while mentoring teammates and sharing expertise.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in Financial Services, Payment Operations, or similar field.
• High school diploma required; Some college or technical training preferred.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations.
• Entry level to intermediate knowledge of electronic payment transactions and exception handling.
• Ability to apply risk, fraud, and compliance controls to payment processing activities.
• Thrive in operational environments with strict deadlines.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment under time-sensitive conditions.
• Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
