Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a Product Manager for the Payment Hub program. The role focuses on back-end payment processes across the enterprise, emphasizing agile project management, governance, and timely delivery of features within the program backlog.

The candidate should bring deep payment systems expertise, ability to lead matrixed teams, and a track record of delivering solutions that align with enterprise strategy and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR in lieu of degree; high school diploma/GED and 10+ years of Product Management experience.
• 7+ years payment systems, treasury or product management related experience
• Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required
• 3+ years of experience leading software development projects
• Experience with Synchrony’s payment products and processes
• Experience in the banking/credit card industry

Responsibilities

• Drive the vision and roadmap for Payment Hub capabilities
• Act as subject matter expert for owned products and customer journey
• Prioritize and track features in the program backlog
• Document current and future state payment processes and define acceptance criteria
• Perform market analysis and develop business cases for new products
• Collaborate with scrum teams to clarify requirements and remove roadblocks
• Lead change management and product release plans
• Coordinate with Operations, Technology, Accounting, Compliance and Risk
• Prepare program status updates
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
