Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Sr. Consulting Manager (Healthcare Global Consulting Practice) to lead payer initiatives, elicit requirements, and ensure traceability from business intent to delivered solutions. The role spans multiple concurrent projects across healthcare payer domains.

You will serve as SME, guide junior analysts, and collaborate with PMs and architects to validate scope and deliverables. Travel is expected as client needs require.

Qualifications

• Payer knowledge in core areas (claims, membership, products, provider data).
• 10+ years in business analysis, process design, or healthcare consulting with lead analyst experience.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and elicit requirements from diverse stakeholders.
• Strong documentation, traceability, and delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
• Familiarity with payer regulatory frameworks (CMS, ACA, HIPAA) and core admin platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis on payer initiatives and ensure end-to-end traceability from intake to delivery.
• Facilitate elicitation workshops with SMEs, owners, and delivery teams.
• Act as SME for business analysis and process design, reviewing junior analysts’ outputs.
• Collaborate with PM and architects to validate scope, report status, and manage multiple initiatives.
