Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Sr. Consulting Manager- Payer BA to lead client engagements, drive solution delivery, and grow Cognizant's consulting business across payer and life sciences domains.

You will manage cross- functional teams, engage with clients and senior stakeholders, and ensure value-driven outcomes. This remote US role requires 10+ years in consulting with strong leadership, along with a business/IT background and offshore/onsite collaboration experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of consulting experience with client-facing roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading consultant teams in planning, task structuring, analysis, and solution delivery.
• Experience managing teams using an onsite/offshore model.
• Proficiency in business/financial data modeling and analysis.
• Familiarity with consulting frameworks, processes, and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engagement Lead, managing teams for projects, ensuring governance, profitability, and client satisfaction.
• Assess solutions for growth opportunities, including partner involvement.
• Drive cross-functional solutioning and governance across teams.
• Oversee daily activities of project staff, including cross-functional members.
• Review project deliverables for quality, requirements alignment, and integration.
• Lead project post-mortems to extract lessons learned and identify IP for repurposing.
• Apply strategic thinking to ensure value-add opportunities for clients.
• Drive issue resolution and escalate engagement challenges to decision-makers.
