Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year field experience repairing heavy construction equipment required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and power transmissions.
• Capable of independent and safe work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist equipment technicians or service personnel with technical support.
• Develop quick and accurate communication with field personnel and dispatch.
• Assure quality of repairs to minimize recalls and rework.
• Comply with all safety policies and HR policies.
• Coordinate with field services dispatcher and parts personnel for timely deliveries.
• Observe and report deficiencies to enhance PM program effectiveness.
• Participate in dealer/manufacturer training and relay knowledge to other mechanics.
• Maintain clean and orderly service truck and tools; manage schedule and parts orders.
• Work daily with internal departments and field managers.
• Adhere to Trimble/Telogis regulations and hours-of-service requirements.
