Job summary

Driscoll Health Plan is seeking a dedicated Nurse Aide/Patient Care Technician to provide general clerical, equipment and patient care support on our care units. You will respond to communications, record data in EMR, and assist with routine tasks to keep patients comfortable and safe.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, checking expirations, cleaning equipment and assisting with venipuncture, 12-lead EKGs, and specimen transport.

Qualifications

• Nurse Aide/MA training or equivalent certification.
• Experience with EMR systems and basic entries.
• CPR certification and adherence to hygiene protocols.

Responsibilities

• Clerical duties: respond to calls, update EMR with patient data, transcribe orders.
• Room care: stock supplies, check expirations, clean equipment and toys.
• Transport specimens and assist with tests such as EKG and venipuncture.
• Assist with patient safety and 1:1 supervision for at-risk individuals.
• Support infection control and adapt to room turnover andEquipment management.
