Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Nurse Assistant I course.
• Current Nurse Aide I Registry listing with the NC Division of Facility Services Registry as a Nursing Assistant II.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Proficient in keyboard operations, basic word processing, and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures, and procurement of equipment and supplies.
• Critically review patient care documentation and report significant changes to a nurse or physician.
• Provide clerical tasks: organize workload, greet visitors, review orders for logic, transcribe orders, maintain medical records, and perform QA audits.
