Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Patient Service Representative II to handle inquiries, schedule appointments, and support a coordinated care delivery model. You will mentor junior staff and contribute to improving patient access via strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Location is within commutable distance to MA offices, with telecommuting options and required use of an Atrius network after hire. Excellent customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical experience and/or medical call center experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with patients and clinicians.
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming patient inquiries and assist with appointment management.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain patient relationships.
• Escalate complex issues to clinical teams when needed.
• Assist with data collection for reports and maintain accurate patient records.
• Protect patient privacy and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
