You will ensure accurate MRN assignment, verify insurance, collect demographics, and provide exceptional customer service aligned with Press Ganey metrics.

You will also develop training materials for new hires, schedule staff, handle on-call coverage, and support point-of-service collections in emergency, outpatient, and inpatient settings,

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in patient access or revenue cycle.
• Understanding of revenue cycle including admission, billing, payments, and denials.
• Knowledge of health insurance processes and CPT/procedure codes.

• Assign MRNs and verify medical necessity or compliance checks.
• Relay calls via the telephone switchboard and provide customer service.
• Develop training materials and programs for new hires in the department.
• Develop staff schedules within patient access and coordinate on-call coverage.
• Handle point of service collections and payment plan options.
• Adhere to Ensemble Health Partners policies and ensure accurate audits and reporting.
