Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Patient Access Scheduling Coordinator Senior Float to join the team onsite in Tampa. The role involves supporting outpatient services across Surgery, Diagnostics, Labs, Behavioral Health, and Infusion, with flexibility to float as needed.

The position requires strong customer service, multi-tasking, and typing skills, plus the ability to work with diverse teams and physicians while maintaining attention to detail. Travel to various campus locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet, communicate, and interact with individuals from varying backgrounds and health care team members in a courteous and helpful manner.
• Ability to set up, organize, and maintain record systems.
• Customer Service, multi-tasking, computer and typing skills, use various types of office automation equipment and software, and interpersonal communication skills both verbally and written.
• Strong attention to detail while multi-tasking and maintaining composure in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling and registration across multiple outpatient services including Surgery, Diagnostics, Labs, Behavioral Health, and Infusion.
• Demonstrate flexibility to float to different clinics or locations as needed.
• Travel to various locations and cross-cover all Patient Access functions as required by business needs.
