Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Patient Access Scheduling Coordinator Senior Float to support multiple clinics across Tampa and surrounding locations. Candidates should have a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet, communicate, and interact with individuals from varying backgrounds and health care team members in a courteous and helpful manner.
• Ability to set up, organize, and maintain record systems.
• Customer Service, multi-tasking, computer and typing skills, and interpersonal communication in written and verbal form.
• Strong attention to detail while multi-tasking and maintaining composure in stressful situations.
• Strong critical thinking such as problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Flexibility to float to any clinic or location as needed.

Responsibilities

• Must work in each clinic as assigned and be knowledgeable across scheduling/registration processes for Outpatient Services.
• Travel to multiple locations as needed to cover patient access functions.
• Coordinate scheduling for Surgery, Diagnostics, Labs, Infusion, and other outpatient services.
• Maintain accurate records and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism.
• Collaborate with health care teams to ensure timely patient access and service flow.
