Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital environment with medical terminology (CPT/ICD-9) and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound calls and scheduling requests across hospital access points.
• Coordinate appointments and maintain accurate scheduling data to optimize resources.
• Gather and verify patient, clinical, and insurance information for complex services.
• Verify insurance eligibility and identify authorization, referral, and payer requirements.
• Schedule services with appropriate sequencing and coordination of multiple components.
