Qualifications

• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language (reading/writing/speaking).
• Minimum 12 months as a Patient Access Representative or lead experience in lieu of direct experience.
• Acute hospital, surgical center, or outpatient center experience preferred; LEVL UP completion within first year.
• Renown Health LEVL UP program completed within the first year of hire; CHAA certification preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word; EPIC experience preferred; typing 35–45 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Perform registration duties and ensure timely patient admissions and insurance authorizations.
• Lead education and onboarding of new hires; develop team through training and in-services.
• Monitor quality assurance, improve patient experience, and revise procedures with other Patient Access teams.
• Audit registrations and share results with leadership; help improve performance.
• Coordinate with leadership on department projects and resolve operational issues.
• Serve as a resource for day-to-day operations and patient service de-escalation.
