• Follows up on unpaid third party claims to resolution.
• Evaluates and processes accounts for adjustments, charity, outside assistance or bad debt.
• Collects balances due from patients using calls, statements, letters or third party services.
• Responds to patient, guarantor, insurance company inquiries.
• Compiles data, tracks results and reports to management.
• Supports refunds, reconciliation, balancing or posting and data collection as needed.
• Helps management review write-offs and discounts and trains staff.
