• 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong reading, writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the Pathologist Assistant Department and prioritizes work production.
• Develops and implements laboratory policies, procedures and safety initiatives.
• Performs preparation, gross description, and dissection of human tissue surgical specimens.
• Recognizes when corrective action is needed and implements solutions.
• Works in a fast-paced lab with biological and chemical hazards.
• Champions safety, compliance and quality control.
