Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school with active U.S. license.
• Registered as a patent attorney with USPTO.
• 3+ years patent experience in firm or corporate setting.
• Strong knowledge of software patent eligibility under 35 U.S.C. §101.

Responsibilities

• Oversee invention intake, evaluate disclosures, and formulate protection strategies.
• Coordinate patent prosecution with outside counsel and review office actions.
• Engage in inventor outreach, harvesting, and education; participate in events.
• Develop protection strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Provide legal guidance on IP issues to business partners.
• Stay current on patent laws and industry trends to maintain strategic edge.
• Support other IP-related matters as needed.
