Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Denver is seeking a highly motivated Patent Attorney to join our office. The role focuses on drafting and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications in electrical engineering, computer science, and software-implemented business methods.

You will review IP agreements, provide patentability opinions, and conduct due diligence, working under pressure and managing multiple tasks with strong legal credentials. A Colorado license and USPTO registration are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of patent preparation and prosecution experience in the electrical arts.
• Excellent research, writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task efficiently.
• U.S. Patent & Trademark Office registration.
• Licensed to practice law in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute U.S. and foreign patent applications.
• Review intellectual property and technology-related agreements and licenses.
• Provide patentability, freedom to operate, and due diligence assessments.
