Job summary

H-E-B in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Production Lead to supervise bakery operations, coordinate production flow, and ensure product quality for our retail customers.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of related experience and supervisory experience, knowledge of baking procedures and equipment, and the ability to lift 20 lbs occasionally in a fast-paced environment. They will support food safety and sanitation initiatives and may assist in training other Partners.

Qualifications

• Work Experience: 5+ years 5-8 years of related experience
• Required Supervisory experience
• Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of department product, food preparation, and equipment
• Required Knowledge of commercial baking procedures and equipment essential
• Function in a fast-paced, retail environment
• Lift 20 lbs or more on an occasional basis

Responsibilities

• Monitors production flow and controls quality of product to new and existing retail customers
• Oversees production of special orders
• Oversees shifts, lunches, and breaks
• Orders raw ingredients for products
• Maintains sanitation in department
• Monitors working conditions of equipment
• Assists in training new partners
• Supports and maintains food safety and sanitation processes
