Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate of Arts degree in Divinity, Christian Theology or Pastoral Ministry.
• 5–10 years of pastoral or ministry leadership experience.
• Strong preaching and teaching abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lead staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver weekly sermons aligned with scripture and church vision.
• Lead teaching series and theological direction of the church to help members grow in their faith.
• Officiate baptisms, weddings, funerals, and child dedications.
• Cast and implement a vision that embodies the church mission and lead strategic planning.
• Provide pastoral care and counsel to church members, leaders and staff.
• Develop staff and volunteers and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Engage with the Pittsburg community and represent the church in denominations and local circles.
