The First Baptist Church, East Bernard, seeks a Lead Pastor to shepherd, preach, and cast vision for a growing congregation in our tight-knit Texas community. The Lead Pastor will serve as an elder, collaborate with the elder body to develop leaders, provide pastoral care, train volunteers, and guide ministries with a clear, compassionate gospel-centered approach that resonates locally and beyond.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preaching and teaching
• Shepherd congregation, staff, volunteers, leaders, and ministry teams.
• Provide pastoral care to the congregation which includes but not limited to counseling, hospital visits, and other needs
• Work with elder body in cultivating vision for the future
• Perform other duties as needed
