Job summary

The City of Galveston is seeking a Senior Parks Maintenance Worker to perform advanced maintenance and repair tasks at Seawolf Park and other city parks. You will work with greater independence, handling grounds, electrical, plumbing, concrete, fences, and facility upkeep to ensure safe public spaces.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least two years in parks facilities maintenance. A Texas driver's license is required; physical stamina is essential for outdoor work and lifting

This Position is distinguished from the Parks Maintenance Worker designation by greater work independence and a broader range of work activities performed. While the Position is generally specific to Seawolf Park, job duties may include performing park maintenance at any City Park as needed.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** *Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include any of the following representative duties, knowledge, and skills.
