Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from High School or possession of a GED.
• Three to five years of experience in landscaping or related operations.
• Class B CDL license within six months of hire (required).
• Ability to operate park and landscape equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plants, waters, fertilizes, cultivates, mows, and rakes grass.
• Trims fence lines and banks of drainage ditches.
• Collects litter and debris; uses a blower to clear debris from walkways and parking lots.
• Empties and parks garbage cans and hauls collected waste.
• Assists in removal and cleanup of illegal encampments.
• Operates power equipment including chain saws, edgers, weed eaters, mowers, backhoes, and field painters.
• Operates dump truck for construction and maintenance; snow removal operations.
