Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Associate I for Drug Product Label & Packaging to execute cGMP labeling and packaging for parenteral products, including vials and prefilled syringes.

This role emphasizes accuracy, right-first-time execution, and strong documentation habits. You will lead line readiness, perform changeovers, maintain label control, and troubleshoot on the floor while collaborating with QA, MS&T, Eng, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• ALCOA+ documentation discipline and accurate record-keeping.
• Packaging experience in pharma/biotech preferred.
• Ability to independently execute routine and complex packaging tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead line setup, operation and changeovers for labeling/packaging.
• Perform line clearances and readiness checks to ensure compliant operations.
• Manage label control activities (issuance, use, return, reconciliation).
• Document in-process checks and verification steps (barcode, vision checks).
• Maintain contemporaneous documentation (logbooks, batch records, MES) and review for accuracy.
• Verify equipment status, calibration status, and pre-use checks; elevate gaps.
• Identify deviations and escalate issues; support troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Support investigations, CAPAs, and change controls for packaging events.
