R.L. Barclay & Associates, a national recruitment firm, is assisting a prominent plaintiff's law firm in Houston, TX to hire an experienced Paralegal to support trial attorneys in high-stakes litigation.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in plaintiff personal injury litigation, including actual courtroom trial experience, and holds a Bachelor’s degree or ABA-approved Paralegal Certification, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong organization, communication, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in plaintiff personal injury litigation, including actual courtroom trial experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certification from an ABA-approved program.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of the litigation process, including discovery, motions, hearings, mediations, trials, and arbitrations.
• Prepare legal documents: petitions, answers, discovery, motions, memoranda, waivers, case briefs, and client correspondence.
• Organize deposition and trial notebooks and maintain confidentiality.
