Addison Group in Houston, TX seeks an experienced paralegal to support litigation teams. You will work under Attorneys and Paralegals, handling cases in state and federal court, and assisting with discovery, motions, hearings, and trials.

The role requires 7+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience, a Bachelor's degree or ABA-approved paralegal certification, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Travel and a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience, including actual courtroom trial exposure.
• Proficiency in organizing and managing complex case files and deadlines.
• Strong ability to draft and edit legal documents and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of Attorneys/Paralegals to meet Firm/client needs.
• Handle multiple voluminous cases in state and federal court and other states as needed.
• Assist in discovery, motions, hearings, mediations, trials, and arbitrations for litigation.
• Prepare legal documents, petitions, answers, discovery, motions, and memos.
