Job summary

WM in Houston seeks a Senior Paralegal to support mergers & acquisitions and ongoing corporate matters, reporting to the Assistant General Counsel. You will manage due diligence, transaction document review, and closing preparation, while coordinating with internal teams and external counsel to ensure timely, accurate work product.

In addition to maintaining subsidiary databases and organizational records, you will draft resolutions, secretary certificates, and corporate approvals, and advise on

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with paralegal emphasis or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or GED with two years of relevant experience.
• 10+ years of experience in corporate law and M&A support; ABA paralegal certificate.

Responsibilities

• Supports mergers and acquisitions activity including due diligence and closing preparation.
• Reviews and drafts NDAs and related corporate/transaction documents.
• Maintains corporate subsidiary databases and governing documents.
• Prepares written consents, resolutions, and secretary certificates.

Education

Associate's Degree (paralegal emphasis)
