Job summary

KBR, a leader in in-house legal services, seeks a Senior Paralegal in Houston for Litigation and Employment Law. You will manage complex case workflows, coordinate with internal stakeholders and outside counsel, and ensure regulatory compliance across EDRM and data privacy requirements.

The role requires deep eDiscovery experience, TAR/predictive coding, and strong research and communication skills. Hybrid work is offered, with remote consideration for qualified DC-area candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in related field.
• 10+ years' experience in litigation and labor & employment in a law firm and in-house environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across all levels.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated expertise in legal research, discovery drafting, eDiscovery, and trial prep.
• Experience with Relativity, Purview or similar tools; TAR/predictive coding experience.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and cross-border data transfer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support eDiscovery lifecycle phases from identification to production.
• Ensure compliance with Federal/State rules and data privacy regulations.
• Manage legal holds in Mitratech and coordinate custodian interviews.
• Collaborate with IT, Legal, and business teams on ESI preservation and retrieval.
• Oversee data collection from various sources with forensic soundness.
• Assist with discovery responses, subpoenas, and privilege logs.
• Manage productions and formats per specifications; report metrics.
• Provide training on eDiscovery procedures and data preservation obligations.
