Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or paralegal certification required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with lawyers, preferably in major law firm or corporation.
  • Experience handling complex litigation and e-discovery preferred.
  • Advanced experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat; ability to create pivot tables and presentations.
  • Must be proficient in e-discovery software.
  • Knowledge of Practical Law Connect and Westlaw.
  • Experience with matter management and entity management systems is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in-house attorneys in managing company litigation and docket.
  • Maintain and organize electronic and physical litigation documents.
  • Assist with preparation and filing of court submissions.
  • Prepare and maintain engagement letters with outside counsel.
  • Assist with settlements and accruals.
  • Provide general corporate assistance to finance, credit, and accounts payable.
